T3BFF - middle school update (#02)
As
you can imagine, middle school is hard for a few people. Those people include
Emma Phoenix, Chloe Drummond, and Lily Illinois. Change is always hard, and slowly
you adapt those concerns for change as you develop more time into it. It’s only
the end of the first week of middle school. Homework is piling up and they’ve practically
lost control of the drastic elementary school vs middle school subjects.
Except
for Lily, of course. First week of school was hard for her, but as the aesthetic
type of student she is, she managed to keep a track of the subjects and homework’s
of middle school.
“When
even is this homework due? I don’t even know who my English teacher is because
she didn’t come yesterday! Who’s gonna be my club teacher? What if she’s mean…”
Chloe procrastinated, having a slight crisis as she lays on the bed inside her bedroom.
“Dude,
chill. It’s not like they’re gonna give you some heavy punishment if you fail
in school. It’s literally in the speech Principal Jackson said, ‘Hollywood
Enterprise Academy Middle School will never force you to like a certain subject,
or whether you have to be good at it, all you need to do is understand the
concept and behave as a student in America’s greatest school.” Emma said.
“But
I don’t understand the concept!” Chloe said once again, frustrated.
“You
see, therefore you gotta pay attention to the teacher in class. Just because
you have a spare sheet of paper doesn’t mean you have to doodle in it while she’s
re-teaching you about fractions.” Lily told Chloe.
These
are two types of concerned students – Chloe is the concerned student who keeps
thinking negatively about school, and Emma is the concerned student with the
positive mind where: if you have control of it, don’t care, and if you don’t
have control of it, might as well not care too.
Lily
turned her chair to face Emma and Chloe with a piece of paper in her hand. “So,
I’ve decided to help you by giving you the two homework’s due on Monday. It’s
currently Saturday and you do have time to do it on Sunday, but I expect you to
do it today.”
“Okay,
that’s helpful. Go on.” Chloe said.
“Social
science homework page 17 on the HEA question-collection book, and English
Language Arts homework page 8 Activity 10 on the package book. You’re welcome.”
Lily smiled nicely.
“Thank
God I’ve done the English homework. I’m gonna do the Social science one after
lunch so I have more energy.” Emma said.
“Is
middle school supposed to be this hard?” Chloe asks.
“Okay,
how about we quit thinking about school for a while. It is Saturday after all… So,
what do we say to going to the park and buying some Bubbleshakes?” Emma smirked.
“Ooh!
I like that idea!” Chloe jumped out of the bed excited.
“Of course, you do. I’m coming too, but I’m taking my bicycle, so wait for me” Lily closed her binder as the three of them head downstairs and outside to the calm and peaceful road of Greenpark Neighborhood, Alley 7, Los Angeles, California.
So basically, all middle school concerns are out of the way because IT'S SATURDAY! Saturday is for fun, not homework concerns. Anyways... That's all from Emma, Chloe, and Lily. See you soon!! :)
