T3BFF - hooray we're alive (#01)

Emma Phoenix’s house.

Yes. They made it. Six whole years. Three awfully pathetic and different girls – Emma, Chloe, and Lily – have made it through elementary school. Now, they’re not officially seventh graders just yet, but they’re getting there.

“Congrats to us for definitely studying for the exam and not just pretending like watching a YouTube education video when you’re actually watching Moon Knight’s finale episode.” Emma said, entering her spacious room with a tray of snacks and other foods to celebrate.

“Ya knows, I actually studied. You two just asked for the digital notes I take, and y’all didn’t even read ‘em.” Said Lily while grabbing a sour patch from one of the many jars of candies on the tray.

“Oh my God Lily you can’t just assume we’re that lazy…” Chloe sipped a glass of cold orange juice.

“Yeah man, I mean, I like, skimmed through it. The pictures are nice.” Emma added as she takes a seat next to Chloe and starts choosing something from the tray to snack on.

“Prog.” Chloe said.

“Huh?” Lily asks confused.

“She means frog, it’s her current obsessive aesthetic.” Emma explained to Lily while smiling with bubblegum in her mouth.

“And that’s how you say it?” Lily asks.

“What’s so wrong about that?” Chloe asks, offended that her lil’ ‘proggies’ are being attacked.

“I don’t see anything wrong in it.” Says Emma.

“Nothing. Nothing’s wrong with it. I’m just saying – actually, you know what, never mind.” Lily settled before hurting Chloe’s feelings.

Chloe sighed. “I want noodles.”

“Loser. That’s all you want.” Emma said annoyed by Chloe's noodle obsession.

"That's literally what I think I should say when you start talking about bubblegum, candy, bubble shake and all that other stuff." says Lily.

"Okay, enough talking." Chloe shushed the conversation. "Here's in celebration to us passing elementary school." she raised her glass of lemonade.

"You know, technically we haven't just yet..." Lily said.

"Yeah other than the fact that we haven't received that report card thing, we also don't know the list of the students that passed elementary." Emma said.

"Which middle school you guys headed to?" Lily asks.

"Hollywood Enterprise Academy Junior High School." Emma said.

"Same bruh." Added Chloe. "I mean, if we do pass - which the chances of us not passing are very low by the way - the easiest bet that will 100% guarantee to accept us is HEA Middle school."

"Yep. I agree." Lily said.

"Any info on our other friends?" Emma asks.

"Let's see... Brittany's headed to NYC Modelling Middle School with Taylor, Jordyn, Cassidy, Harper, Kourtney, and Stefani are planning to go to HEA Middle School... and that's all the info I know." said Chloe.

"Britt's headed to New York City?" Emma asks, unimpressed.

"Unfortunately yes." Replied Lily. She talked to me about it once.

"That's good. She's out of our lives now." Said Chloe. "Oh, and about that mission Principal Collins gave us..."

"Oh yeah! We're supposed to give NLAEA kids a tour of the school! That's next monday right?" Emma asks.

"Yup." said Lily.

"Oh well then. Guess we'll just YOLO outta life." Said Chloe chuckling.
